Lost Keys
So, Friday night Mike could not find the keys to his scooter. He retraced his steps about 500 times, (okay, I came home, set them on the counter, then went in the den, then in the hot tub...where the hell could they be!) spent 2 hours looking for them and then another hour on Saturday morning. He seriously looked in every drawer and cupboard in the house. He freaked London out by looking outside with a flashlight (Mom...someone is outside in the backyard shining a light!!!). Of course Cole was blamed, but he denied it. Mike called the Yamaha dealer and they said they can't copy the keys (something to do with the size of the key) and he would have to get a new ignition...nice. Needless to say Mike was a little stressed, irritated and cranky! We did our soccer game and party routine and later that afternoon he started looking again. In the process we found a lost DVD and a lost bike lock key, but no scooter key. So Cole is upstairs playing and he says, very calmly, Dad, I found the scooter key... he brings it downstairs and it turns out it was stashed away in the Dinoco Helicopter, we didn't even know about the little compartment to hide stuff in! (Yes, we will be giving that back to the Meese's)

Chad said.."that little bugger." That sucks, but it is kind of funny, too. I like that he was so calm when he said it.
