Saturday's Market

Crazy head-pieces, they had all kinds of disturbing axes and screwdrivers in the heads, I told the kids to go for the drumsticks and the pencils.

very pathetic duct taped tambourine, huh!

I need more Cowbell!
So we had a little cultural experience today...called Saturday's market. The kids loved it, except for a couple times when London had a fearful look when someone strange or a bit mentally ill got a little too close to her. They had a great time looking at all the fun stuff and eating elephant ears and Pad Thai. Cade of course loved all the crazy musicians. This one guy with an accordian had all these instruments out and had the kids all playing them, it was pretty funny. We definitely had to wash up and sanitize when we were done. After we had our fill of patchouli and fried food aroma, we headed up to Pioneer Place, then on to NW and had some yummy skinny dip yogurt...keep reading for the rest of our exciting day....

What a great idea. Funny how you always feel you have to leave town when, really, there's all this cool stuff to do in Portland. Cute pix!!
