Extra Long Christmas Break!

Cole helping himself to some metallic blue sprinkles...

lots of moms brought their kids to run around the gym at SAC on Friday...
So our kids had 5 snow days this week, which equates to a very long Christmas Break...3 weeks if you want to get technical. They actually hoped (and so did we) that they could go back to school the last couple days, but the roads have been very icy in spots. We have been entertaining ourselves with: sledding and making snow families, Rock Band, Karoake, crafts, making cookies and having lots of movie nights. Luckily we have been able to get down our hill several times for emergency trips to the grocery store for staples like Pringles, Crunch n Munch and various other treats. We also got out to the mall and gym a couple times. It looks like we have more stormy weather this weekend, so we are having all kinds of fun family time!

Fun for you guys...yeah right...after the 2nd day I'm sure (well, like you said) you were ready to get out again. Oh well. I hope it lasts/continues for a White Christmas! We're getting a lot of snow too. Too bad the chapel is right behind us. So they won't cancel that. In fact, SkyView (where Wade teaches) hasn't had a snow day in like 15 years or something like that. And sometimes the snow gets to be a coupla feet! oh well. Glad you could escape a couple of times.
