Field Day

The past few weeks have been very exciting for London. After asking for about a year, she got contacts. We all thought she looked soo cute with her glasses, but she wanted the option of contacts as well. After about a week of practice, she was totally independent in getting them in and out, and taking care of them. She loves them and rarely wants to wear her glasses because she can see so much better her contacts. The last couple weeks of school were fun with field day and end of year parties. For their party they signed t-shirts and had a sing along with Mr. D on drum ans Mr. Neff on guitar. London and some of her friends also went on stage during the last day of school assembly and lead the school in the Cha Cha Slide dance. They had been going in on recess for several weeks to practice this. She had a great year with Mr. DeMichele, he was very funny but challenging, a great balance.... once she got used to his expectations. She is very excited for summer so she can sleep in and have her cousins come visit. She has a whole list on her wipe board of all the activites they are going to do...always the planner!
