The rare sight is Mike cooking in the kitchen....He got some stuff in Florida to make some traditional Venezuelan food. Arepas, rice, beans, fried plantains, and a special cheese. They also serve it with a roast beef, but since I am beef challenged, we left that out. He opted for a fried egg on top (which I skipped also.) It was so yummy...what a cultural experience, the kids all ate and loved it too! Cole's favorite line when he sees Mike cooking in the kitchen, is "whatcha making dad...arepa?"
